What to Expect on Your First Visit to Our Chiropractors
If you have made the choice to make Evexia Family Chiropractic part of your health care family we would like to share what you can expect from your first visit. We will begin your appointment by taking a complete health history of your current condition. Understanding the history of your complaint is an important step in properly diagnosing your condition. Next, we will perform a thorough physical examination which we use with your history to form a working diagnosis. Lab testing or diagnostic imaging such as X-ray, MRI, or CT scans may be used to aid your chiropractor in making a diagnosis.
Once a diagnosis has been reached your chiropractic physician will determine what care is appropriate for you. Your doctor may decide that you need to be managed or co-managed by other physicians. If this is the case your chiropractic physician will make the appropriate referral. If chiropractic care is right for you we will explain your condition, the proposed treatment plan, and inform you of the risks and benefits of any procedures recommended. The length of your treatment varies according to many factors including your age, past injuries, severity of your condition and other complicating factors. At Evexia, our Family Chiropractic Care physicians will create treatment plans with your individual needs in mind. It is our goal to help you recover as quickly and safely as possible.
